Quebec technical textile companies are converting their production to make certified protective equipment, such as masks and gowns.
March 29, 2020 – Philippe Mercure, from the newspaper La Presse, joined the teleconference bringing together stakeholders from the textile world. They were gathered to plan their actions in relation to the coronavirus crisis.
While Quebec manufacturers in the sector are thinking about reorganizing their production line, they must act quickly and well to avoid any shortage of protective products.
The entire sector is mobilizing and organizations such as CTT Group, Vestechpro and TechniTextile Québec are being called upon to evaluate the industry's production capacity, produce compliance tests, etc.
